Using the Accessible Lift

A side entrance from the parking lot accesses the lift that connects to the Basement Hall and the Library.
To use the Accessible entrance from the Parking Lot you must press the round white intercom call button. A library worker will then electronically unlock the door. Once unlocked, use the handle to open the door. If you require other assistance, you can speak with staff over the intercom.
Once inside you will see the automatic lift door, Pressing either green button should open the door.
Inside the lift, there are two short barriers but it is not fully enclosed. Keep yourself inside the passenger area.
Inside the Lift there are two green buttons and a red Emergency Call Button. Pressing the upper green button will cause the elevator to move upward after a short delay. Pressing the lower green button will cause the elevator to move down after a short delay. Keep the button pressed until the door opens at your destination floor. If you let go, the lift will stop. Simply press the button again to resume travel.
